Using the same technology and behavioral science we deploy inside client companies, Humantelligence conducted a study on Kairos fellows to help uncover what drives this unique group of young people as entrepreneurs. What we found was both illuminating and a little surprising.
We presented the results of the study to the more than 500 attendees at the annual Kairos Summit in New York City. After pinpointing several key insights, we suggested strategies for how the fellows in attendance could put their newfound awareness about themselves and the Kairos organization to work. In this SPECIAL REPORT we expand on what we covered at the Summit and round out the findings of the study.
In brief, what we found is Kairos fellows are motivated by freedom and challenging convention. They have a desire to be unique and creative working in a highly freeform manner, but ranked low on structure and doing things by the book. Personal development, achievement, adventure creativity and friendship were shared as top priorities. These trends illuminate a group of young people ready to go out, experience the world and create solutions and businesses that will allow them to tackle problems, together.
